Jeff Smith, member of Endicott Proud discussed how they are making Endicott the premier destination for young professionals to live, work and play while enhancing the quality of life for the residents.
John Saraceno, Jr., Sustainability Manager for Keystone Associates Architects, Engineers and Surveyors, LLC discussed sustainability management, sustainable design and provided examples of local green projects happening around the Southern Tier.
Amelia LoDolce, Executive Director of Vines, an organization committed to developing a sustainable community food system, taught us what VINES does and how they impact the community.
Dr. George Homsy, Assistant Professor at Binghamton University touched on his research into sustainability policymaking at the local government and neighborhood levels and the way some communities find that environmental protection can attract economic development.
