- T. Kowalik welcomed members and participants. He reminded members the next meeting of this group will be in March at TCCC Extension site in Downtown Ithaca. The topic will address Conditions and Prospects for the Upstate Economy. Due to the nature of this topic, T. Kowalik encouraged members to invite representatives from other areas of their organizations and regional businesses to the March meeting.

Fabrizi, Director of Enrollment Management Marketing, Binghamton University presented an excellent and very interactive session titled, “Connecting and Engaging with Today’s Customers.” She discussed strategies and tactics to focus on brand awareness and integrated marketing communications with particular emphasis on utilizing technology tools now available, e.g., e-mail, web, social media, analytics.
