Speakers:

Richard David, City of Binghamton Mayor
Greg Deemie, Village of Johnson City Mayor

Recording:

By positioning the City of Binghamton as a statewide leader in cutting-edge economic development initiatives, Mayor Richard C. David has secured major funding for projects to improve Downtown Binghamton. By incorporating mixed-use developments on currently vacant or under-improved parcels, Mayor David has set the tone for future projects in Binghamton. By levering state resources, the City has seen tens of millions of dollars in private funding that will transform the very nature of downtown to benefit students, residents and businesses.

Mayor Deemie will be discussing the affect the URI will have on the Village of Johnson City and what it will mean to the area. He will discuss some of the projects outlined in the URI and their impact on the community. What the past held and what the future looks like for the village.
