Mike is the Director of US Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Initiatives for GLOBALFOUNDRIES. In his role, Mike is responsible for strategic plan development and execution to support business needs, policy development and lobbying. Mike directly interfaces with the Administration and top lawmakers in Washington DC, as well as those on the state level.

  • Speaker Mike Russo began his presentation on an overview of GLOBALFOUNDRIES, its unique business model, as well as its strategic importance to the State and the Nation. Particular emphasis was placed on the company’s positive effects on the New York State region with its newest plant in Malta, NY, and the most recent initiatives taken on a more nontraditional and strategic approach to government relations through education.
